I do not have a clear memory of the process whereby, "Early on we selected 'Embracing the Vision, Pursuing the Goal'" (first sentence of the second paragraph from the Message from the President). Was this university-wide goal statement processed through the various levels of student, staff, faculty and administrators?
The phrase was coined by Dr. Robinson and adopted by the HLC Steering Committee. It has been presented in faculty assemblies, Team MidAmerica meetings and to the Trustees.
